Islamabad Journal of Social Sciences is an academic, peer reviewed and referenced journal that functions as a platform for Social Scientists to showcase their original research. Published biannually, in July and January, the journal covers a wide variety of topics from all fields of Social Sciences including Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Law, Gender Studies, Defense Studies, Archaeology, Psychology and Business Studies. The focus of the journal is to publish scholarly and cutting-edge research articles with an emphasis on the issues of developing countries. IJSS is open to different methods of scientific inquiry and welcomes qualitative, quantitative, as well as mix method research. The journal publishes genuine theoretical and analytical research in all fields of Social Sciences. IJSS is affiliated with and published by Faculty of Social Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University.
